Coventry City scouted Liam at the tender age of 9 where he progressed rapidly and captained the under 18’s and played regularly in the reserves. A team he was welcomed into, built of young talent such as Daniel Sturridge. Liam also played alongside Daniel, Kyle Walker and Theo Walcott in the England U18 squad. This was Liam’s dream, his focus and his future until it wasn’t, a devastating knee injury that ended his professional football career at the age of 18.
